The year in that Adele destroyed Call of Duty




The Call of Duty franchise is recognized as the leading entertainment brand in the world, surpassing therevenues of the great sagas like Star Wars or Harry Potter. In the UK, however, sales of Modern Warfare 3were no match for Adele, the latest pop sensation from Europe.
The singer was awarded first place in a ranking of sales of entertainment products in the Land of Queen. 21The album, Adele has sold 3.92 million units, against 2.81 million copies sold of Call of Duty: ModernWarfare 3, which ranked second.
The Activision franchise was twice champion of the rankings, having appeared in the leadership in 2009 and2010.
